Ty Cobb autograph letter signed, written on five sheets of Ramada Inn stationery. Dated 27 March 1960 to Marie Quinn, his future live-in helper, letter reads in part, ''...I will be leaving here for Atherton around April 8th as exhibition games are over here, teams break camp for home towns to open seasons, I expect to see opener at San Francisco possibly a few games...am tired of...being fooled, I had a man here to help me, he turned out to be a bum, per his claims...Ty''. Pages measure 6'' x 9.5'', in near fine condition.
