NASA astronaut Ed White signed photo, depicting the former Air Force officer tethered to the Gemini IV spacecraft. Signed items by White are quite rare as he died in 1967 along with fellow astronauts Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee during a pre-launch test for the first manned Apollo mission at Cape Kennedy. Inscribed in black marker, ''To Larry Onesti / With best wishes for you and your pro career on the 'Gridiron' / Edward H. White II''. Glossy photo measures 10'' x 8'' (image itself measures 7'' x 7.25''), with minor toning. Near fine.
