One-of-a-kind blazer signed and personally owned by Johnny Cash, ''The Man in Black.'' Rightfully nicknamed, as Cash embodied the signature color his entire career, terming his austere look his ''symbol of rebellion.'' His outfits were nearly always black and finely tailored, and this black wool blazer is no exception. Cash signs the inner lining at lower left, ''Best to you / Johnny Cash'' boldly in silver pen. No brand or size, though measures 20'' shoulder to shoulder, 27'' shoulder to sleeve and 38.5'' in length. Minor smudge on lapel, though hardly noticeable. Jacket comes with an electronic LOA from Kathy Cash verifying the jacket and signature. Reads in part, ''...dad gave me that jacket...It's legitimate and that's dad's signature...'' Overall, near fine to fine condition. A true symbol of Cash, an icon who lives on through his music and signature style.
