Unique Amundsen Antarctica Expedition postcard signed by Norwegian polar explorer Jorgen Stubberud, dated 1961 with a personal note in Norwegian in his hand. Stubberud, who lived from 1883 to 1980, participated in the Expedition between 1910 and 1914. Postcard depicts Stubberud and his ship, Fram, with printed Norwegian text stating that the Fram arrived in Hobart, Tasmania in 1912 after reaching the South Pole. 5.75'' x 4.25'' card has no postmarks. Overall in near fine condition.
