First edition, first printing of ''Yertle the Turtle and Other Stories'' in dustjacket, written and illustrated by Dr. Seuss. Random House: New York: 1958. Book comprises three famous stories, including ''Gertrude McFuzz,'' ''The Big Brag'' and of course, ''Yertle the Turtle.'' Dustjacket has some wear to edges, otherwise very good condition with original 295/295 unclipped price. Book, measuring 8.25'' x 11.25'', has some wear to spine and edges, else very good with nice, clean pages.
