Truman Capote 9'' x 8'' glossy photo, signed and inscribed by the author in black ink at top left, ''For Deborah -- good wishes / Truman Capote''. Photo depicts Capote smiling in his signature glasses beside American socialite Lynn Wyatt, with a note on verso dating photo, ''Truman Capote w/ Mrs. Oscar Wyatt / 1/78''. By 1978, Capote had published his famed ''In Cold Blood'' and was slipping into a state of drug abuse and unrest, often made public, sadly shrouding his fame. Photo has two pinholes at bottom right and one at top center, else fine.
