Wilhelm Furtwangler typed letter signed in crisp black ink just three years before the end of his life. Furtwangler writes to Herr Seemann in German from Clarens on 31 May 1951: ''Dear Mr. Seemann, Thank you very much for the beautiful book by Viktoria Contag about Chinese art, which interests me very much although it may seem a rather obscure subject for contemporary Germans. In the hope that we will soon again have the opportunity to see each other and all best wishes I remain Yours, Wilhelm Furtwangler''. Measures 8.25'' x 5.75''. Near fine.
