Fascinating pamphlet issued by King I of England in 1642 during the first days of the English Civil War. In this 12pp. booklet, Charles tries to sway public opinion against the Parliamentarians, who, at the time of the printing, had forced the King into countryside exile. Title page reads, ''His Majesties Declaration to all His loving Subjects...A Declaration and Protestation of the Lords and Commons in Parliament to this Kingdom, and the whole World'', printed by Leonard Lichfield Printer to the University: 1642. Very good condition.
