Vice President Charles G. Dawes typed letter signed, dated 1 December 1925. The Nobel Peace Prize recipient writes to publisher Edward Bok, ''...I will agree to come a year from next February if you want me to do so. With the exception of my appearance at Philadelphia which is because of a promise made long ago to Senator Pepper, I do not expect to make any addresses out side of Washington while Congress is in session...[signed] Charles Dawes''. Lightly toned letter measures 6.75'' x 9''. Very good.
