Artist Salvador Dali autograph. In bold strokes he signs, ''Salvador Dali / 1943''. The Spanish-born surrealist, known for the bizarre images in his artworks, lived in the U.S. during the 1940's. During this time, Dali's work was exhibited at New York's Museum of Modern Art and his autobiography was published. In 1943, he painted ''Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man,'' depicting North America struggling to hatch out of an egg shaped world. Minor toning to the edges of the 6'' x 4.25'' album page, else near fine.
