8th Duke of Argyll, George Campbell autograph note signed, dated 1 February 1882. Campbell inscribes to an Edward Bok, ''...much pleasure in sending you my autograph - my photograph can be obtained from Mess. Mayall Bond St. London...Argyll''. Campbell was Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal, the fifth of the Great Officers of State, between 1853 and 1855. Card style note with embossed Royal seal measures 4.5'' x 6.75''. Paperclip impression, else near fine. Envelope included.
