Neil Armstrong typed letter signed, dated 20 May 1999 on his personal stationery. Letter is addressed to attorney Mark Ruehlmann and discusses the Armstrong Air and Space museum in Armstrong's hometown of Wapakoneta, Ohio. Reads in part, ''...Among the many facilities of the Historical Society is the Neil Armstrong Air and Space Museum in Wapakoneta...they intend to modify it to a 'Neil Armstrong only' facility...I do not favor the change and hope to learn what my legal rights might be...'' Signed ''Neil'' in black ink. 1pp. letter measures 8.5'' x 11'' with two holes punched at top, an ink stamp at top right, and a slight smudge at center. Near fine.
