Though Ashe retired in 1980 after suffering a heart attack, his ceaseless efforts in various charitable organizations lasted until his passing in 1993. Gold pin has a black border and reads: ''Black Tennis & Sports Foundation / BT & SF''. Measures .75'' in diameter. Near fine. With an LOA from Ashe's widow.
