Arthur Ashe's 1st place singles trophy from the Detroit Tennis Club Invitational. Lidded brass trophy cup is undated. The interior is lined with glass and a stamp to the underside indicates manufacture by International Giftwares and solid brass content. Measures 9.25'' in height with lid on and diameter is 7.25'' at the mouth. Weighs 3 pounds, 9 ounces, including glass lining. Scattered tarnishing and scratching, else fine. With an LOA from Arthur Ashe's widow.
