Revolutionary War document dated 20 February 1783, just months before the Treaty of Paris ended the war. Document orders payment to a soldier in the Third Connecticut Regiment. Reads in part: ''Received, of Pay-Table-Committee...to secure the Payment...as stated by the Committees of the State and of the Army...'' Signed by Calvin Wilson, another member of the Regiment, on behalf of the payee, Eleazer Robinson. 7'' x 6.5''. Moderate toning, horizontal folds weak near edges with some professional repair. Overall very good.
