Dwight Eisenhower signs ''DE.'' to a lengthy two-page letter typed on his personal monogrammed stationery. Datelined Palm Desert, 12 January 1962 to his brother Edgar, letter concerns the Eisenhower Presidential Center in Abilene, Kansas: ''...the problem of assuring the permanent upkeep of all parts of the Center in Abilene...of course the Library will be properly sustained and maintained by the Federal government, but that we cannot be sure of the future of the house or the Museum...'' Two sheets measure 7'' x 10.25''. Punch holes, else fine.
