Dwight Eisenhower signs ''Ike'' to a letter typed on his personal gilt-monogrammed stationery datelined Palm Desert, 15 January 1962. Letter to his brother Edgar reads, ''Do you count birthdays any more? And on such occasions do I extend felicitations or what? (You are so much older than I that I seek advice). At any rate, have a fine time!...Happy Birthday!'' Measures 7'' x 10.25''. Standard folds and punch holes, else near fine.
