Written for a young audience, the story is narrated from Parks' perspective and recounts her story that 1 December 1955 day that forever changed civil rights history in America: ''...I stayed in my seat...'' Signed clearly on the title page in black ink across an illustrated portrait of a young Parks: ''Rosa Parks''. Book measures 6.25'' x 8.75'' with clean mylar-covered boards. Also includes a signed 9'' x 11'' portrait print of an older Parks. Fine.
