Dwight Eisenhower signs ''D.E.'' to a letter typed on White House stationery to his brother Edgar dated 28 September 1960. He writes, ''...We were delighted to see [your daughter] Janis and Bill and the children, although our time with them was much too short...'' A copy of Edgar's letter to Dwight is included, in which Edgar explains he is enclosing a pamphlet called ''A Return to Candor in Politics,'' for which Dwight thanks him. Measures 6.75'' x 9''. Center fold and punch holes, else near fine.
