Air Force trophy with pilot bust presented to actor Lloyd Bridges, who appeared in over 50 television shows and 125 films. Bridges also left Columbia Pictures in 1941 to enlist in the Coast Guard during WWII. Metal bust sitting atop base depicts a pilot in full gear, parachute sack hanging off his back. ''Michael Garman 1974'' is engraved into base. Metal plaque attached to two-tier wooden base reads: ''THE AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION SALUTES YOU / LLOYD BRIDGES / FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION 'THE AIR FORCE SALUTES HOLLYWOOD' THE 1980 AIR FORCE BALL''. Base measures 5.5'' x 5.5'' x 3.75'', trophy measures 15'' tall. Minor wear to wood and metal. Overall very good condition.
