Sir Laurence Olivier wardrobe from "Inchon". Olivier stars as General Douglas MacArthur, who heads the amphibious ambush of the South Korean city Inchon during the Korean War in 1950. Two-piece military uniform comprises a khaki green button-up shirt and matching trousers by classic Hollywood costumer Western Costume. WC brand label within the trousers has Olivier's name typed upon it, "Sir Laurence O". Shirt label has been removed but bears a Western Costume stamp in orange ink within. Measures 22" across the chest with 19" sleeves. Trousers are size 38 x 29. Pinholes to shirt collar from decoration with military pins, else near fine. Provenance from a private collector.
