Laura Ingalls Wilder autograph letter signed, writing to a fan on 4 May 1953. From Mansfield, Missouri, the ''Little House'' author answers a series of questions, revealing interesting answers. Letter reads in part, ''Pa called me Flutterbudget because I was so quick always fluttering here and there. / If Pa was not contented he never told it. He was pleased to give us a chance to go to school...I have never kept a diary, but my memory has always been good. Pa and Ma never had any of those modern things...Almanzo and I passed through Chicago but never stayed there. It was to me just another big city...Please do not ask me any more questions...Laura Ingalls Wilder''. Two page letter on two sheets measures 5.75'' x 7.75'' in envelope hand-addressed by Laura Ingalls. Also with a circular about her life and books. Very good to near fine condition.
