Large format Earthrise photo measuring 14'' x 11'', showing for the first time the Earth from the vantage point of the moon. Taken during the Apollo 8 mission, photo is date stamped 4 February 1969 on verso and printed on ''A Kodak Paper''. Also with McDonnell Douglas stamp on verso, likely where it was developed. Glossy photo has some edgewear, minor creasing and surface scratches. Faint block of toning from previous framing. Overall in very good condition. A rare large format original photo of Earthrise.
