Large Disney cel from the beloved 1959 film, ''Sleeping Beauty''. Cel depicts Princess Aurora, aka Briar Rose, with her fairy godmother Merryweather upon a forest backdrop. Cel measures 12'' x 10'', with mat measuring 14'' x 12''. With an official Disneyland sticker to verso reading, ''This is an original handpainted celluloid drawing actually used in a Walt Disney production.'' Mat is toned with pinhole at top and surface sheet has some abrasions, but cel itself is very good to near fine, with only minute buckling and a tiny area of crackling to the bottom of Merryweather's dress.
