Langston Hughes signed copy of ''Montage of a dream deferred'', his acclaimed book of poetry about Harlem in the late 1940s. New York: Henry Holt and Co., 1951, stated first edition. Hughes elegantly signs in large writing upon the front free endpaper, ''Sincerely - Langston Hughes''. Measures 5.75'' x 8.5''. Bright, unclipped dust jacket has some paper loss along the spine with chipping and light soiling, in good condition. Previous owner's writing to front pastedown, part of dust jacket adhered to boards and separation starting to front joint. Otherwise bright with a clean interior, in very good condition.
