King George III document signed, dated 14 February 1812 from Carlton House. Partially-printed warrant details Land Forces discharge terms and pay to Staff Sergeant John Perkins Hill giving him, ''ten shillings a day for his half pay as a Staff Surgeon to the Forces having served upwards of 20 years and permitted to retire in consequence of ill health from 25th July 1811...'' With a large 3'' x 2.5'' and bold ''George PR'' signature at top. Countersigned by War Secretary Lord Palmerston. Card-style document with print to cover measures 7.75'' x 12'' with minor toning and horizontal folds, else near fine.
