Charles II letter signed, ''Charles R'' as King of England and Ireland. Letter is dated 31 January 1683. French language letter is addressed to Charles's cousin, the Duc de Juliers, and inscribed in Charles' hand in French, ''Your affectionate cousin''. Single-page letter on card-style stationery measures 5.75'' x 7.25''. Addressed between two red wax seals. Toning and folds, with a small closed tear near but not affecting the ''C'' in Charles, else near fine.
