Unique and funny Johnny Carson signed doll, showing a droll photo of Carson under a multi-colored wig that tops the 22'' cloth doll. Farmer's overalls and a rainbow are stamped on the cloth, with ''For Dorit [Stevens] / Love Johnny'' signed in a cloud next to the rainbow. A heart is drawn with a different ink next to the autograph. The back of the doll, also stamped with overalls, bears a stamped label reading, ''Be a doll inc. 1976 / Pat. Pend.'' Stevens, a Playmate personality, appeared on ''The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson'' several times in the late 1970's and early 80's. An 8.5'' x 11'' copy of a photo of Carson with Stevens accompanies the doll as does a letter of authenticity signed by Stevens. Near fine condition.
