John Glenn signed ''Life'' magazine, boldly signed in blue pen upon the front of Glenn's NASA helmet. Glenn is featured on the cover of the 2 February 1962 issue, just before he became the first American to orbit the Earth on the Mercury-Atlas 6 mission. Large magazine measures 10.5'' x 13.75''. Light edge wear to magazine and some dampstaining to first few pages at upper right, but very discreet on cover. Address label at bottom left. Overall very good condition.
