Signed by John Bradley and Rene Gagnon, 1945 U.S. war bonds poster featuring an artistic rendition of Joe Rosenthal's famous photo, ''Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima''. As two of the surviving flag-raisers, Bradley and Gagnon sign this poster, ''John H. Bradley Ph.M 2/C / Navy'' and ''Pfc. Rene A. Gagnon / U.S.M.C.'' The colorful poster has U.S. Government Printing Office information printed along the bottom margin, along with the date of 1945, ''Official U.S. Treasury Poster'' and the description, ''U.S. Marines at Iwo Jima, Painted by C.C. Beall from Associated Press Photo''. Measures 18.5'' x 26''. Pinholes at a few intersecting folds and very light wear along border, otherwise near fine. With an LOA from John Bradley's son, ''Flags of Our Fathers'' author James Bradley.
