John Bradley, Rene Gagnon, Ira Hayes and Joe Rosenthal signed photo of the U.S. Marine Corps Memorial, featuring the Iwo Jima flag raisers in sculpture. Of the six flag raisers, the 3 surviving soldiers - Bradley, Hayes and Gagnon, sign this photo, along with the photographer of the historic event, Joe Rosenthal. Rosenthal's photograph is considered the most famous war photograph of all time and inspired millions of Americans at the close of WWII. 5'' x 7'' photo was taken from the program for the 1954 dedication of the Memorial. Light toning and very light soiling, otherwise near fine condition. With an LOA from John Bradley's son, ''Flags of Our Fathers'' author James Bradley.
