Dated 10 June 1955, letter states that Dean is to appear on the Ed Sullivan Show (then called ''Toast of the Town''), ''It is understood, of course, that we may require your services in connection with said program for the limited purpose of advertising and exploiting said photoplay now entitled 'GIANT'...'' Signed ''James Dean'' in blue ballpoint. Letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Creasing and faint paperclip impression at top, overall very good condition. From the estate of James Dean's agent, Jane Deacy.
