Rare James Bond screen-worn suit donned by Pierce Brosnan as James Bond in ''The World Is Not Enough''. Brosnan played the coveted role of Bond in the 1999 film, the third of the four films he starred in as the famed M16 agent. Two-piece charcoal wool suit is by Brioni, the Italian bespoke house that designed all of Brosnan's suits for his role as James Bond. Bond is seen wearing the suit at the beginning of the film in Bilbao, as he meets with a Swiss banker to retrieve Sir Robert King's money. He is then seen escaping with the case of money out of a window, surprising passers by below. Lot includes: (1) Single-breasted wool jacket with Brioni signature silk lining label; the care-label is printed ''Bond 3 - Pierce Brosnan'' to underside with additional custom details in Italian, including the style, ''Augusta''. With extra fabric and buttons inside pocket. Measures 21'' across chest x 34'' in length with 27'' sleeves. (2) Matching wool pants with turn-ups, again with a tag labeled to underside, ''Bond 3 - Pierce Brosnan'', measuring 32 x 32 with rubber along inseam of waist. (3) Blue cotton Turnbull & Asser shirt. Tag lists shirt as ''Sea Island Cotton Quality'' with an ''1882'' stamp. Measures 21'' across chest. (4) Turnbull & Asser navy silk tie with brown chevron design. Tie has small snag to tag. (5) Pair of Church's brand black custom leather Presley monk-strap shoes. Each shoe is inscribed inside in ballpoint pen with the letters, ''SB'', the number ''10'' and unreadable wardrobe details. Bottom of each shoe has ''100 / E'' engraved to leather, notating size, likely size 10 in American sizing. Scuffing to bottom of shoes. Overall, near fine. Includes original wardrobe tag. With provenance from Christie's James Bond auction in October 2012, lot 22.
