Jack Swigert personally owned ticket to the Apollo 13 launch. Swigert served as Command Module Pilot on Apollo 13, the thrilling near-fatal mission that had to turn back before reaching the moon. Ticket features the Apollo 13 mission insignia at center. Verso bears a large NASA logo, serial number 3945 and printed text reading, ''The National Aeronautics and Space Administration cordially welcomes you to the launch of Apollo 13...'' Signed in print by Kennedy Space Center director Kurt H. Debus. Measures 5'' x 3''. Housed in a clear badge holder with metal clip for affixing to clothing and secured with a staple at the bottom, else near fine. With an LOA from the Jack Swigert estate.
