Jack Swigert personally owned lot of space items, including: approximately 75 space covers and postcards, most regarding Apollo missions; set of two Apollo 13 silver medallions measuring 1.25'' and 2'' in diameter with the mission insignia on obverse and images of the astronauts on reverse, accompanied by note indicating set is likely a collector's edition, #35 of 2,000; five-page typed essay by Swigert with headline ''We had no warnings, just a tremendous bang'' that ran in LIFE Magazine on 1 May 1970, documenting the Apollo 13 mission, with First Day of Issue cancel from 2 August 1971; sheet of Apollo 11 stamps with Swigert's unsigned thank you letter; ''Apollo Spacecraft Hardware Utilization Request'' and ''Spacecraft Parts Tag'' associated with the Apollo 13 Noun List; approximately 20 First Day of Issue certificates, most space related measuring about 8'' x 10'', including Apollo 11 and ''A Christmas Eve Prayer From Lunar Orbit'' from Apollo 8. An abundance of over 100 space related items owned by Apollo 13 astronaut Jack Swigert. With an LOA from Jack Swigert's niece.
