Large 12.75'' x 10'' photo of the Flag Raising at Iwo Jima, signed by the last three surviving Marines who received Medals of Honor for their valorous action during the critical battle. Signed in black felt-tip by Hershel Williams, Jack H. Lucas and George E. Wahlen, all of whom put themselves in severe harm's way to protect their fellow soldiers and advance the U.S. position. Satin-finish photo has some light creasing and gummy residue to upper right. GAI sticker at lower right. Overall in very good condition.
