Carl-Smith is informed: ''The President and Mrs. Roosevelt request the pleasure of the company of Mr. Carl-Smith at a reception to be held at The White House Thursday evening, February the sixteenth, nineteen hundred and five from nine to half after ten o'clock''. Gilt seal adorns the invitation, as it does the flap of the official envelope that accompanies. Measures 5.75'' x 4.75''. Near fine.
