Custom Fender guitar with Plexiglas body from late 1980s, owned by INXS bassist, Garry Beers. Guitar is extremely rare as only 2 were made with Plexiglas bodies, both for Garry Beers. Used live on the ''X'' tour in early 1990s and in photo shoots, the 4-string bass has a maple neck and 3 volume/tone knobs. Measures 46'' in length with 14'' wide body. Comes housed in tweed case with red velvet lining. Guitar weighs 12 lbs. 3 oz. Accompanying picture from the book ''INXS The Official Story of a Band on the Road'' shows Beers playing guitar onstage with Michael Hutchence during the ''X'' tour. Selling over 45 million records worldwide, INXS is one of the most influential new wave bands of all-time. Minor nicks to body, otherwise near fine condition. With an LOA from Garry Beers.
