Amplifier and cabinet used by INXS bassist Garry Beers, extensively in the early 1980s in studio and on-stage, and in the late 1980s for smaller warm-up shows and rehearsals. System was also used by Beers on tour with his side band, Absent Friends in 1988-1989. 1970s black Ampeg SVT V9 amplifier and black Peavy cabinet has two 15'' Scorpion speakers. Amplifier has 2 output jacks, 2 volume knobs, a distortion knob, a bass knob, a midrange knob, a treble knob, a reverb knob, a foot switch output jack, a power switch and 2 black handles. Amplifier measures 12'' high x 14'' deep and weighs 87 lbs. Cabinet measures 40'' high x 15'' deep and weighs 105 lbs. Cabinet is in working condition with some wear, scratching and soiling from use, overall very good condition. Amplifier is not in working condition and needs service, otherwise it has some wear, scratching and soiling, in very good condition. With an LOA from Garry Beers.
