Hunter S. Thompson autograph letter signed, written on a postcard from ''Manor House'', where he served as caretaker in Big Sur. Postmarked 28 February 1961, Thompson writes to his friend Paul Semonin about putting off a trip ''...until crisis passes...'' Thompson is likely referring to a ''pregnancy scare'' that he mentions to Semonin in a subsequent postcard the following month. He continues in this letter, ''...Life is hairy...'' and signs off ''H'', which he circles. Postcard measures 5.5'' x 3.25''. Very good to near fine condition.
