Joan Crawford typed letter signed on her personal stationery, dated 3 January 1963. Letter is addressed to ''Pattie darling'' and reads in full: ''Thank you so much for my lovely hammered silver pin. It is absolutely exquisite. How dear you were to think of me, and send this beautiful gift to me. I hope your Christmas was a happy one, and that your New Year will be everything your heart desires. My best wishes to you and your lovely mother.'' Signed ''Joan'' in blue ink, letter on one page measures 6'' x 6.75''. Two corners lightly bent, else near fine. Includes original envelope.
