Ho Chi Minh's personal business card, handwritten by the Vietnamese leader with a Christmas greeting. Card was given to U.S. Army Captain John I. Farris, who was stationed in Hanoi for nine months in 1945-1946. Card bears Ho's printed name in English on one side, and Vietnamese on the other, handwritten by him on the English side: ''I wish you Happy & merry Xmas! / 25-12-45''. Card measures 3.5'' x 2''. Light wear, overall in very good plus condition. Accompanied by the French book, ''Histoire D'une Paix Manquee / Indochine 1945-1947'', translated as ''Story of a Missed Peace'', about the tenuous time in Vietnam following the August Revolution. A photo of Captain Farris is featured in the book, preceding page 129. Light wear to book, very good condition. Consigned by the family of Captain Farris.
