Hoover inscribes the front free endpaper: ''To Mr. John Reedler with the Good Wishes of Herbert Hoover'' to which the coauthor adds, ''& Hugh Gibson''. Writing during World War II, the authors hoped to ''...stimulate American discussion and to clarify thinking...'' about planning for peace. 5.75'' x 8'' book with unclipped dustjacket is in very good condition.
