Included in the lot is a typed letter signed by Hoover's secretary upon his personal stationery. It reads in full: ''Dear Miss Capaul, Enclosed is a photograph which Mr. Hoover has signed for you. With all good wishes, Yours faithfully, [signed] Bernice Miller''. Matte photo measures 8'' x 10''. Near fine.
