Heath Ledger screen-worn custom-tailored coat from the 2000 film, ''The Patriot''. Ledger played ''Gabriel Martin'', the eldest son of ''Benjamin Martin'', played by Mel Gibson, in the Revolutionary War historical epic. Dark olive green corduroy coat is in the style of a Continental Army soldier, and was featured in the action sequences in which Ledger is killed during an attack on the Green Dragoons' camp. ''Dominic Gherardi'' costumer tag is sewn into inner pocket reading ''Heath Ledger / June 1999'' in type. Measures 20'' shoulder-to-shoulder and 46'' in length. Coat button slits are not functional. Small tear at split of coat tail, else near fine. With a Screen Used COA.
