The Aston Villa 1910 Division Championship medal awarded to ''Happy'' Harry Hampton. Detailed medal in 15kt gold features a lion rampant within a blue enamel shield above a blue enamel banner reading, ''Prepared'', all atop a gold convex ground with quilted pattern. Center is surrounded by gold letters against maroon enamel banners reading, ''Aston Villa / Football Club / League Champions / 1909-10''. Reverse side features a convex center engraved, ''H Hampton''. With English gold hallmarks and stamped with Vaughton maker's mark. Measures 1.25'' x 1.75''. Weighs 0.75 ounce or 22 grams. Near fine.
