Gershwin inscribes the frontispiece verso in blue fountain pen, ''For Winnie Sheehan who made my first venture into musical talkies a great pleasure / George Gershwin / Sept. 24, 1931.'' With illustrated photographic endpapers and Gershwin's stamped signature in gilt to front cover. Book measures 5.5'' x 8.125''. Mild shelf wear and rubbing to backstrip, overall very good plus condition.
