Rare George Custer signed envelope, made out in Custer's hand to his wife ''Mrs. Genl Custer'' in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Envelope has two 3-cent stamps affixed to upper right. Postmark is from Washington, DC, dated December 23. Measures 5.25'' x 3.25''. Toning and light discoloration, but in clean, very good condition.
