Oilskin costume worn onscreen by George Clooney in Warner Brothers' 2000 drama, ''The Perfect Storm.'' Directed by Wolfgang Petersen, the picture was based on the true story of the Andrea Gail, a commercial fishing boat lost at sea during the so-called Perfect Storm of 1991. The film stars Clooney as Captain Billy Tyne. The entire six-man crew was lost in the cyclone off the northeast coast of the United States. The oilskin trousers and hooded jacket are crafted as replicas of the actual outerwear worn by the Andrea Gail crew. A photo of Clooney wearing the costume is included. Intentional soiling, else near fine. With provenance from Christie's and a COA from the Prop Store of London.
