Period coat worn by Gary Cooper for the Cecil B. Demille adventure film ''Unconquered''. The coat was purchased by Warner Bros. circa 1950 when it bought a large number of items belonging to the United Costume company. Three quarter length 19th century red military style coat features Cooper's name written to a United Costume wardrobe tag stitched to the middle back of the red lining. Wool coat features five large brass buttons down the front, three to each sleeve and three below each front pocket. Jacket is size 39.5. Slight discoloration to the shoulders and arms. Very good.
